I limped into Silverthorn, CO when my Ford Ranger was acting as though I were in second gear when I was in drive. It was late on a Friday and I called the shop just before 5 pm. I spoke with the owner and set an appointment for my truck for the next day. He met me at the shop (on a Saturday) right on time and, after performing a cursory evaluation, told me that he thought the truck was fine. Since I was heading into the wilderness, I asked that he hook the truck up to their computer and do a more thorough exam. He called in a mechanic and the analysis was performed in about an hour. Everything checked out as the owner had predicted but there was a lowish normal reading on the catalytic converter so they thought that the converter might have had a temporary blockage of some kind. I was able to leave with my mind at rest. As it turns out, they were correct, the truck was fine and performed well throughout my trip to Grand Canyon and on to Prescott Valley, AZ. I was treated with professionalism and honesty by everyone at the shop. I highly recommend JH Mountain Auto Services and if I ever have vehicle problems on one of my frequent trips into the mountains will use them again.

Wow!  What a great auto shop!!!!  Thanks so much for getting us running again.  Woke up to a dead battery for the third time in two weeks on a second battery purchased from a local auto parts store in Denver.  Up for a weekend away from the city, geared up ready for skiing, and had to change plans for the day.  Was successful in getting the car jumped and finding JH Mountain Auto Services phone number with a google search.  Called and spoke with Matt and he told us to come in.  Figured we would wind up spending a whole day waiting on the car to get fixed and only imagined what we would be dealing with in-car expense.  JH Mountain Auto got us in and out within a little over an hour! :)  They discovered that the auto parts store had incorrectly installed the second battery.  They fixed the connection issues and we left the store with only a $50 bill.  Would definitely recommend JH Mountain Auto to all.  Excellent service!!!!!

Pulled in unexpectedly on our drive from Brooklyn to CA. Super friendly, super helpful. Explained everything clearly and made recommendations for tire places in the area. It was a bummer to have to stay an extra night and pay for a hotel, but obviously, brakes are worth it. A bit more communication would have been preferable (updates), I think, but they were crazy busy and working as hard as they could. Lots of stranded travelers! It's hard when you're stuck, but luckily we came across an amazing shop! I definitely recommend this place - plus the shop dog is adorable and makes the time pass.

My car broke down in Frisco, I thought it was the fuel pump because I supposedly had the fuel relay in the fuse box checked by Springs Auto and Truck Services Center in Colorado Springs, they told me that wasn't it. I replaced another part so I just left the fuel pump so that's what I ordered. One of the guys from JH mountain auto misread my order and did a diagnostic and found that it IS the fuel relay in the fuse box saving me 200 bucks. I think from now on I will pay for the diagnostic because not every mechanic is as honest and that's huge. JH quoted me a tow bill of 125 and charged me 100. This is good business.

At JH Mountain Auto they have an awesome mindset of just helping their customers as much as they can while doing the honest thing, which is something that I can definitely appreciate! On vacation and experienced a flat tire.  JH Mountain Auto Services got me in immediately, fixed the flat promptly, and reinstalled the repaired tire.  They even torqued the wheel to factory specs and cleaned the wheel for me.  All in less than 20' and very reasonably priced.  Highly recommend them if you need any automotive work.

Our son was stranded without a running vehicle at Keystone housing after ski resorts and support services such as shuttle and bus routes were canceled. Your company came right away with a tow truck during the afternoon and had his alternator replaced and car ready for pick up the following day! 5 years ago we were about 3000 miles over on our oil change. We pulled in and even though they were slammed, the owner Kamil said he would get it done. VERY VERY HONEST!! Our car stalled out traveling up skiing. We pulled into JH Mountain Auto and although they were very busy, they got us in and on the slopes on time.  We thought it was a fuel pump issue and after they diagnosed it the pump was fine. They did a full diagnosis, tightened up a loose wire, made some adjustments, and we were good to go.  They could have easily charged me for a $1200 fuel pump and we left for a minor diagnosis charge. This is truly as good as it gets. My girlfriend drove my car into our garage and my Subaru needed some bodywork done. Not wanting to go through insurance, I was able to work with them to keep my costs down. The day of the work, they picked up my car from my work, had the fender, bumper, and light done in 2 hours, then came and picked me up at the end of my shift!! No other place has ever done that for me. The best part was that they did good work for a REALLY good price.  The nicest guy and very knowledgeable.

These guys are great! I burned my brakes up pulling a trailer that was too heavy for my truck. They replaced my brakes at a fair price, plus Todd, the owner, took me on a mountain test drive with the trailer to teach me how to use the engine to slow the vehicle.  Everybody in the shop was awesome.  I highly recommend them.
